Hi, I'm Sarah.
I grew up in an entrepreneurial home, so I've always been curious about how businesses run and what makes them successful. I used to joke with colleagues that I've been reconciling since I was 10, and honestly, it's not far from the truth.
I've been doing bookkeeping and accounting since 2008, and in 2014 I started Evergreen Bookkeeping to work with small, owner-operated businesses, the kind where the owner wears every hat. My goal has always been the same: keep things efficient, provide timely information you can actually use, and act in the best interest of your business and you.
That covers the whole life of a business, from setting up your books on day one to monthly bookkeeping and payroll, coordinating with your CPA at year-end, working with state agencies when audits come up, and winding things down cleanly when it's time.
I'm a QuickBooks ProAdvisor with Sage Intacct experience, based in Whatcom County, Washington, and I work remotely with clients across the country.
